Delfina Gimeno

Delfina was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She moved by herself to the United States at the age of 19, spent her first year on the East Coast then moved to Santa Cruz, where she lived for 8 years. She now resides in Los angeles. Delfina's general focus is on functional training, Pilates, and TRX. She knows her stuff and her classes are good for all levels. She will make sure you leave feeling the burn.

Krista Jasper

Krista was a former professional #gymnast. She trained for 2008 #Olympics and won 3 ACC championships while on full scholarship to UNC-Chapel Hill. Her passion for health and fitness continued, coaching young competitive gymnasts until she moved to #LA where she transitioned into personal training and leading group fitness classes. Some of her specialities include HIIT training, calisthenics, weight training, and barre.

Natalie Brooke

If you've taken a class on a recent Wednesday evening, you will have noticed that one of your fellow Sandbox enthusiasts was teaching the class instead of taking it.

Please welcome Natalie Brooke into the trainer side of the Sandbox family.

Natalie hails from Vermont, where she was first introduced to dance and gymnastics at just three years old. From there, she ran track and field and was on the varsity cheer leading and gymnastics teams in high school.

Moving to California for college, she studied dance, stage combat and film at AMDA's conservatory program. While in school, she coached USAG gymnastics and became an ACE certified trainer and group fitness instructor. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology (emphasis in Athletic Training and Dance.) Most recently, Natalie obtained her certification for Strong by Zumba, a high intensity tempo training format.

We look forward to watching Natalie coach some tough classes. When you see her name on the schedule, just know you're gonna get a good workout.

Jason Crow

Health, athletics, and fitness have always been among Jason’s passions.

As a collegiate scholarship athlete in football and track, he knows that hard work and a good nutritional plan have always been necessary to achieve one’s fitness goals.

For the past two decades, he has put his knowledge of fitness and nutrition to work, helping thousands of people improve their health.

Jason specializes in group fitness, as well as one-on-one training. From TRX to kettle bells, bands to free weights, boot camp to kickboxing, Jason firmly believes that without challenge, there is no change.

Jason has been certified over the years from NASM, ISSA, and NCCPT as a CPT, and holds a Sports Nutritionist (CNS) diploma from Huntington College of Health Sciences, and a Bachelors in Physics from the University of Montana.

Wendie Weldon

Wendie is certified by National Academy of Sports Medicine specializing in weight training, body sculpt, and TRX.  She discovered a passion for fitness and nutrition after losing fifty pounds during her senior year of college at CCU. Wendie has been teaching group classes such as boxing, X-Bar, Bootcamp, and Water Aerobics for three years. She has a passion for helping and encouraging others to pursuit their dreams and live a healthy lifestyle

Laura Primiano

Laura Primiano is an ACSM certified exercise physiologist with 30 years experience. She has also trained in and is certified in group fitness, kickboxing and TRX . Laura specializes in post- rehab training and cancer-exercise training, helping people improve their health and fitness and recover from injuries and illnesses.

Being a member of sandbox fitness for over a year, she loves the challenge of the sand and the camaraderie of the classes. Laura brings her training, knowledge, and experience into the sandbox to provide a nurturing, yet challenging, experience for all fitness levels.

Tonni Ratcliff

If you've been at Sandbox for a while, you undoubtedly know our star trainer, Tonni Ratcliff. If you've taken her classes, you've undoubtedly been sore the next day.

Tonni has agreed to jump back into the sandbox and take on more classes. For those of you who don't know much about Tonni, let's introduce her:

When she's teaching, Tonni unleashes the beast, yet finds your inner peace! This Southern lass promises to make you sweat, dance, and laugh while leading you on a spiritual journey to discover the best version of yourself and your highest potential.

Don't let her pint-sized frame fool you. She is a woman of many strengths and talents. In addition to being a classically Russian-trained ballerina, Tonni is a former professional athlete herself and holds many fitness certifications ranging from Spin, SurfSet, Barre, Mat Pilates, and TRX.

But wait, there's more -- Tonni developed and copyrighted her own training program called Pilarryo. She has been teaching for 24 years AND is a trusted Master Trainer to professional athletes, dancers, and celebrities.

When she's not training clients, Tonni likes to "relax" by rock climbing, backpacking, camping, and running in the California Sierras. When we say running, we mean RUNNING! Tonni enjoys mountain ultra-marathons, which range from 30 to 200 miles! Oh, and here's a fun fact: Tonni trained her younger sister, who went on to medal in the 100-meter hurdles at the 2012 London Olympics!

As Tonni says, "Awesomeness must RUN in the family!"

Don't worry, Tonni won't make you run in the sand for 45 minutes, but she will give you a tough workout that will make you appreciate her the next day.
